A Life Shaped by Adventure

It all started with a bowl of phở at age 14. What seemed like a simple meal sparked a lifelong journey of exploration, culminating in an authentic phở experience in Vietnam after a grueling 29-hour bus ride from Laos. This pivotal moment wasn’t just about travel; it was the start of a profound commitment to exploring and understanding the world, which now forms the cornerstone of my professional life.

Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to embracing the freedom and learnings that come from solo travel. These experiences have not only shaped my worldview but have also refined my professional skills, teaching me resilience, adaptability, and the art of connection.

Educational Journey:

Beyond the Classroom

My academic path was marked by an unexpected placement in the academically more able group during secondary school in England, a recognition not of my grades but of my potential to think creatively and ask challenging questions. This environment fostered a love for learning that transcended traditional educational frameworks.

At Northumbria University, I pursued a degree in Business Management, driven by pragmatism rather than passion, and graduated with first-class honours in 2022. My experience taught me the power of applying academic learning to real-world problems, particularly through a dissertation that blended data analysis with genuine insights to propose actionable strategies.

Professional Experience: Diverse and Impactful

My year at Volkswagen was transformative, providing me with invaluable data analysis skills and a distaste for the corporate grind. I led significant projects, including a CO2 measurement initiative, which not only honed my leadership abilities but also underscored the importance of meaningful, data-driven work. Later, as a Product Specialist at Apple, I embraced the company’s focus on individual character over skill, which aligned perfectly with my own values. This role reinforced the importance of genuine connections in business, affirming that true customer satisfaction comes from empathy and understanding.

My core values are honesty, curiosity, integrity, and embracing challenges. These principles have guided me through various life challenges, from deep-sea panic attacks to navigating through storms, teaching me that with the right attitude, there are no limits to what can be achieved. These experiences have not only reinforced my resilience but have also deepened my commitment to bringing innovative and thoughtful solutions to every aspect of my work.
